Breeding Insight launched in 2018 with six U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) breeding programs: alfalfa, blueberry, table grape, sweetpotato, rainbow trout and North American Atlantic salmon.

All species and programs included in Breeding Insight are nominated and approved by the USDA-ARS Office of National Programs.
