The Pacific West ARS region includes Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington. This area includes the following species that are part of Breeding Insight: alfalfa, blackberry, blueberry, coffee, grape, hop, lettuce, NA Atlantic salmon, oat, potato, rainbow trout, raspberry, red clover/cover crops, strawberry and sugarbeet.

All species and programs included in Breeding Insight are nominated and approved by the USDA-ARS Office of National Programs.
